These are the upcoming shows for Arlington, MA based band The Taste of Silver. Combining elements of avant-garde music with hardcore, grind, punk, and classic indie rock like Dinosaur Jr and Pavement, The Taste of Silver has been touring the US and releasing cutting albums for the past four years. Their new album, Narcimalion, is available at Newbury Comics locations throughout Massachusetts, as well as at RevHQ.com, Very distribution, and Century Media.

At the crest of winter's cold, The Taste of Silver is driving the ol' beat up Dodge back through the backroads in search of more peril and ultrarock fiascos. This tour will be in support of the then-newly-released concept album "Narcimalion" which is slated for it's appearance via Hold True Recordings in January just prior to tour. Check out two songs we recorded 4-track style from practice back in February of 06. The first one is called something like "Thinnest of Threads" or "Thinnest Thread" (we often call pretty much every song by some intra-band slang term until we release it, so forgive my not knowing) and the other is "We Came To Bury Capitalism, and I Brought My Shovel". This may or may not be up for a while, so listen in while you can! It's as raw as you can possibly imagine, but I imagine if you've never heard these or haven't seen us live in a while that it'll be a cool chance to hear some stuff that we rather enjoy and have been playing out quite a bit.
